The steaks are just fabulous. One large sandwich makes a meal for 2 or 2 meals for 1. The sandwiches heat in the microwave almost as good as fresh.
Like the original Steakout on Prospect Road, these are probably the best cheesesteaks you're going to find in the area. They're the real-deal, brimming with actual meat, not just the typical dried-out Steak-umm slices you find on 99% of the supposed cheesesteaks out there now. Great quality ingredients from meat to the roll. Fantastic, crisp breaded fries complete the order. I only hesitate from clicking the fifth star because of the attitudes of the employees. Having been to both locations several times now, I don't think it's an aberration. On my first visit (Prospect Road), I received friendly service- that was the first and last time. More often than not, the people taking your order need a serious lesson in customer service. Nearly every time their demeanor clearly sends the message that either they don't want to be there, or they don't want me there. Their tone makes me think they feel they're doing me a favor by taking my order- abrupt and curt. They're borderline impolite. I don't even necessarily need a fake smile (which they never even attempt), but don't repeatedly cut me off in mid sentence because you're tired of the same old customer questions. Is no one instructing them in this? It's a true shame the attitudes don't reflect the product. Feels like a major contradiction.
Visiting the area and wanted to find something not super fast food for lunch before I headed up the road. Saw this place on google and went there. Really glad I did. Was disappointed there is no real sitting area so I did have to eat in my car but the way the food was wrapped and in containers made it pretty easy to eat in the car. Got the seafood fries really not expecting much and was I wrong. Real crab and huge shrimp. Good portion too for $11. Got a wiz steak and the Amoroso bread was a added treat. Price wise not horrible and flavor wise big plus. Would suggest this place for a simple but delicious meal.
